Dr. Buerhan Saiti is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Islamic Economics and Finance, Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. He recently received the Outstanding Young Researcher Award from the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÃœBA) (2018-2021). He was previously a full-time Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the IIUM Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance (IliBF) where he received an award in 2017 for publishing the highest number of articles in citation-indexed journals in the social science category. He was the recipient of ISRA Shariah Scholarship Award from December 2009-December 2012.
