As the editor of the ISRA Islamic Finance Space Magazine (IIFS), I once again welcome all readers with warmth and appreciation. The publication of IIFS is yet another feather in ISRA’s cap and further establishes our strong standing within the industry.
Areas of Islamic finance such as riba’, waqf, zakah, wa’ad, Islamic social finance, and others have been further explored in this issue of IIFS through columns such as ‘Food for Thought’, ‘Kalamuna’, ‘Global Insight’, and ‘Youth Corner’. In this issue, IIFS was fortunate enough to interview an influential figure in the Islamic finance industry, a central banker working in the Department of Islamic Economics and Finance Development of Bank Indonesia, Dr. Rifki Ismal. Besides, IIFS was also privileged to have renowned Islamic finance industry practitioners contributing in the column of ‘Global Insight’.
Apart from the above, there are also other interesting columns in IIFS which include, among others, ‘ISRA Events’, ‘Islamic Finance for Dummies’, and ISRA Publications. Last but not least, may this magazine play an important role in bringing all the Islamic finance experts together through the expression of their views and knowledge in the various columns of the magazine, for the sake of the betterment of the ummah.
