The Muzakarah Cendekiawan Syariah Nusantara (MUZAKARAH) is an annual conference that brings together Shariah scholars, Shariah advisers, Islamic Finance academician, and Islamic finance practitioners from Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.
The 2026 Muzakarah Cendekiawan Syariah Nusantara is held under the theme “Memperkasa Pematuhan Syariah Dalam Sistem Kewangan Islam” reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing governance, integrity, and Shariah compliance as the cornerstone of a sustainable Islamic finance industry.
The Opening Ceremony of the Muzakarah Cendekiawan Syariah Nusantara 2026 was officiated by YB Senator Dr. Zulkifli bin Hasan, Minister of Religious Affairs, on 21 July 2026 at Hilton Kota Kinabalu.
